Proofs are in! Locking orders and addresses

Hi everyone,
The proofs came in from the printer, and they look great! Here is a peek at them:
I'm placing the big order for the hardcovers and paperbacks today, bringing us one step closer to fulfillment. I'm sending out a 48-hour lock orders notice now, so you'll have one more chance to add items to your order, and then later this week I will send out the 48-hour address lock notice (if you have any changes to your address).
Once I have the books in hand, I'll send out another update!

Hi everyone,
Happy summer from Guild HQ! Over the past month, design wizard Shawn T. King has been working his magic on both the inside and outside of The Gauntlet, and I'm happy to report that the interior design and hardcover design are finished, and the paperback design will be completed this week!
I've already uploaded the hardcover files to the printer, and once those are approved, I'll order a proof copy. Once the paperback cover is done, I'll do the same for that format, and due to the different production times, I expect to receive both proof copies at around the same time. If all looks good with the proofs, then I'll place the bulk order for The Gauntlet. I've already ordered and received books 1 and 2, so everything will be ready to ship out once the new books arrive.

Also, there are still a few backers who have not filled out their surveys yet, so please make sure you fill it out so I can send you your book!
And if you've read the ebook and now decided you would like a physical copy as well, you can add one to your order through the survey.
Grab the latest Blood of Atlantis issue
Issues 1 and 2 of my comic series Blood of Atlantis were available during the campaign, and issue 3 is now out. You can pick up a digital copy of the latest issue through the add-ons section. If you want print copies of the comics, then you can grab them from the Blood of Atlantis pre-order store. Issue 3 is currently being printed and will be shipped out over the next month, so there's still time to grab a copy.
I'll be back in a few weeks with pictures of the proof copies and a more definitive shipping timeline. Until then, if you have any questions, drop a comment or shoot me a message.

Hi everyone,
The survey smoke test was successful so the post-campaign survey has now been sent out via BackerKit!
You do not need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. Just click the survey link in the email to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, and purchase any add-on items.
After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before I close the surveys and get my final counts.
How do I get my digital items?
Once you complete your survey, you should get a separate email from BackerKit with a link to download your digital items. That includes all digital ebooks in your order, including Guild of Magic: The Gauntlet!
That's right, the digital ebook is waiting for you just as soon as you fill out the survey, so even more of an incentive to complete it ASAP.
You'll a new email every time a new digital item is ready, such as the pre-launch follower bonus short story and the Guild flash stories.
What if I don't see the email yet?
Check your spam folder. If you use Gmail, sometimes your invite will go to your "Promotions" tab. If you still can't find it, search your inbox for "BackerKit"
What if I need to change my responses?

Apple ID Private Relay email address?
If you did not receive the email, and you signed in with Apple ID, your email address might be a private relay email address. We can help locate your survey and update your email address, please message me or post a comment with your Backer ID or Pledge # found on your confirmation.
Upgrade to print
Backed at a digital tier but want to grab a print book or two? You'll be able to do so via the survey. Just add the books you want and you'll be charged at checkout.

Survey Lockdown
In the middle of June, I will lock down the survey, meaning that you will no longer be able to add add-on items or upgrade your pledge tier.
The survey is locked down so I can order the correct number of books. You'll still be able to update your shipping address until 48 hours before I start fulfillment. And don't worry, you'll get plenty of lead time to do so.

Hi everyone,
Hope you are having a great spring!
Here's where things stand on The Gauntlet:
- Copy editing is complete!
- The final typo read through is in progress!
- All three interior illustrations from Fran Delgado are complete!
- The new Manhattan map is complete!
- Cover and interior formatting are up next.
Given the current status, I expect to have the ebook ready by mid-month. I again thank you for your patience as I took some extra time to make this book the best that it can be!

We've got a few stragglers left on the backer name survey, so if you click on the title of this update and there's a red bar at the top of the page telling you that you haven't filled out the survey yet, please do so!
BackerKit surveys coming this month
I am working on the BackerKit survey and expect it to be ready in the next two weeks (hopefully sooner). I will send it out once the ebook is ready, so you'll be able to download and start reading as soon as you fill out your survey. You'll also be able to add any add-ons you may have missed during the campaign.
